Tracy Newton Mapes, is Sr. Director of Quality for Symmetry Surgical. Tracy is a Quality Management veteran within Medical and OEM operational environments.  She holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee with broad experiences in Process Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Construction and Plant Management in addition to Quality.  She has a bias for process and efficiency improvement fostered from her time as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Program Director roles.  She has a long list of successes and turnaround accomplishments resulting from combining a continuous drive for improvement with varied experiences and a bias for software solutions to improve the lives of both external and internal customers.
