Loctite® Medical Device Assembly Adhesives

Needles & Syringes

Medical device adhesives are used for bonding cannulas to hubs in needle assemblies, ensuring cannula is fixed and joint is well sealed to prevent fluids from leaking. The most common adhesives used are light curing cyanoacrylates, heat curing epoxies, and UV and LED light curing acrylics.

Catheters

Medical device adhesives are used for bonding catheter materials such as PVC, polycarbonate, polyurethane, and stainless steel. The most common adhesives used are light curing silicones, cyanoacrylates, and UV and LED light curing acrylics.

Tubes & Connectors

LOCTITE® light cure adhesives are used to assemble tubing to fittings, adaptors, IV sets, connectors, feeding tubes, and more. The most common adhesives used are light curing silicones, light curing cyanoacrylates, and light curing acrylics.
